In this day and age of ongoing accountability in the classroom, finding creative ways to keep students on their toes can sometimes be a challenge. We have popsicle sticks, playing cards, white boards, numbers, birthdays, etc. The list goes on and on.
How would you like a FREE app to make that selection process a breeze and works from your computer, your android, your iPad, or your iPhone? I am sure I heard you say YES:)
How does the app work? First, simply decide how you wish to randomize: students in a class to call on, cooperative group accountability (number groups and then use the randomizer app to select one to share their group’s work), decide what student/group will do what assignment (project assignments), etc. The limits here are only those of a teacher’s imagination. Second, decide on whether you want the items shuffled, or you want the RANDOMIZER to pick for you. Third, either shake your phone (fun) or have the RANDOMIZER pick for you.
